400g Chickpeas (tinned)  
1 tbsp (heaped) Tahini paste  
3 garlic cloves, crushed into paste  
  juice of lemon (to taste)  
pinch ground cumin  
100ml olive oil  
  salt & pepper to taste  
  paprika to sprinkle on top to serve  


Blend the chickpeas (keep a few whole for 'garnish' later) , tahini, cumin and half the garlic paste and lemon juice. Then add the olive oil to the point of getting the right consistency.

Add salt, pepper and more lemon juice and garlic to taste.

To serve, sprinkle the reserved chickpeas on top, drizzle with a little olive oil and shake a dusting of paprika.
